History

Born in an agricultural family in 1940, Mr. Chinnipalayam Muthugounder Kulandaiswamy, started CMK as a small-scale trading business for Jaggery at the age of 17. In 1999, CMK Projects Pvt. Ltd was started by his sons CK Venkatachalam and CK Balasubramaniam. The company had humble beginnings with a total headcount of 20 people and a turnover of 20 Lakhs in the first year. Fast forward to 2021, we’re a strong company with a headcount of 310 staff members and we turn over a close figure of 502 crores per year. The company’s principles have been inspired by the founding father of the enterprise Mr. CM Kulandaiswamy, who is a hardworking and enterprising gentleman. Over the last 22 years, the company has been involved in various projects with prestigious clients. In the history books of our company, we’ve always strived to innovate and improve; delivering quality infrastructure.

Innovator - CKV

Mr. CK Venkatachalam is an innovator and an enterprising leader. He is an engineering graduate from the PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, and started his career with RPP Group, undertaking several government projects, large-scale industrial projects, and several other verticals. He leads the company with extreme pride and looks after every aspect of the project ranging from safety measures to newer methods of construction. His approach is dynamic, charismatic, and extremely enthusiastic and is inspired by his mentor Mr. R.P. Selvasundaram. For Mr. Venkatachalam, every rock is an opportunity to sculpt a memorable history. CKV’s core philosophy is to always provide the end-user with the best quality infrastructure that matches international standards.
